Chicago Hoops Scoops Bertrand Annoucement
Joseph Bertrand is apparently also going to Illinois from the Class of 2009. I hope Brian Stinnett of Chicago Hoops is sure of this announcement. He seems to be the one with the breaking news. Read his story on Bertrand and this top notch class of 2009.

Well, if they say it on the internet then it must be so...
Actually Bertrand is a kid that I have known about for a few years. He was decent as an 8th grader in AAU ball.
Think there may be one more? Think it is Simpson? Tyler Griffey? Don't know? It does not matter until the sign on the dotted line.

In this case, it really was so, since this was confirmed by Bertrand himself. And yes, Illinois fans are aware there is at least one coach in the conference that actively recruits verbally committed athletes. There are other coaches employing these tactics, such as a guy from USC.
