Legion coming to visit Illinois on Tuesday

Alex Legion is supposed to be visiting the Illinois campus on Tuesday, and meeting with coach Bruce Weber during the visit. Link

The mentor and former AAU coach of former Kentucky player Alex Legion said Illinois is Legion's first choice for a new school. Legion also had mentioned Notre Dame, Michigan and Arkansas earlier this week.

Look for him to commit Sunday if the "fit" is right.

Not sure what you mean by "fit," but if Legion did not like Billy G's workouts, I doubt he likes Weber's style. I think Legion needs to go somewhere like Memphis, where he can showcase his talent for the NBA.

But if we get him, we will take him with open arms. And his Mom.

He is more than a "Legion in his own mind," he is a solid player who will be in the league in 1 1/2 years!
