There is an excellent summary of the shootout at the University of Illinois at the Illinois Prep Bullseye site, which has comments on most of the Illini commits and recruits, including Joseph Bertrand, Brandon Paul, D.J. Richardson, Donivine Stewart, Lenzelle Smith, Jereme Richmond, Crandall Head and Mike Shaw.
It sounds like Joseph Bertrand really made an impression, and Lenzelle Smith can be compared to Sergio McClain. Donivine Stewart's stock continues to rise from the Class of 2011.

Yes, there is room for everyone. Many of these players will only play for 2-3 years, so the scholarship grids need to be adjusted for the most likely number of years, rather than assuming everyone plays for 4 years.
hey! i live in Plainfield, IL and my aunt works at U of I. she said that the Illini are all excited about some teenage kid from plainfield and I think I might know him, but she couldnt recall his name.. does anyone know who I'm talking about? She think his name might have been Alex or something.
